Our Guarantee & Return Policy

Hard Goods

Unopened, undamaged hard goods may be returned for a store credit within 30 days of the original purchase. The item must be in “like new” condition and be accompanied by the original receipt.

Live Goods

(Excluding annuals, vegetables, perennials and foliage)

Barnes Greenhouses assumes all responsibilities and costs involved with guaranteed tree and shrubs that are sold in our garden center.

We feel that our plants have received very good care and will perform well if you follow the instructions on the care tags for your plants, trees, and shrubs. This includes corrects planting techniques and adequate watering procedures.

Our return policy allows a replacement tree or shrub to be given if the plant has had proper care and does not survive.

Trees and shrubs that are damaged or have a section that has died are not covered. Because of extreme tenderness, roses and azaleas or rhododendrons are not covered by our policy.

A replacement tree or shrub or store credit will be equal to the actual amount paid for the product. Please be aware that trees/shrubs purchased on sale may be subject to a remaining balance owed in the case that it is returned.

The plant must be returned within 30 days of purchase with a sales receipt. If you do not have BOTH the plant and the receipt, or the 30-day period has passed, we are sorry but cannot offer a replacement.

Due to the seasonality of many of our trees and shrubs, if a similar product at a similar price is not available when the product is returned, store credit will be issued.

In the event that you receive a replacement tree or shrub, it will not be covered by another guarantee.
